High School Project - Building Solar Panels from Scratch

eSynergy, a newly-created, non-profit organization based in the United States, is diligently working on an afterschool program designed to teach high school students in the US the art of building solar panels from basic, raw materials. The program will teach these students how to build cell phone chargers made of solar cells contained inside a CD cover. Upon completion, some of these chargers will then be shipped overseas to underdeveloped countries where electricity is either inaccessible or very scarce. eSynergy is committed in its effort to sharing the knowledge gained from the US program and providing the necessary tools and equipment to give students from undeveloped countries the same opportunities afforded US students. The objective is to teach these students how to build solar panels for themselves using the knowledge and equipment we provide.
